Are you a North Carolina middle school teacher interested in an awesome opportunity to work with our team?

As part of our Students Discover project, we are pleased to announce special Students Discover Kenan Fellowships  for middle school teachers in Alamance-Burlington, Duplin, Durham, Madison, Pender, Pitt and Wake County school districts:

  • Choose from 4 citizen science projects and spend 5 weeks working with a team of 3 other teachers and researchers at the NC Museum of Natural Sciences in Raleigh.
  • Write curriculum that engages your students in scientific research and allows them to experience the thrill of scientific discovery!

These opportunities can be found at http://kenanfellows.org. Simply click on the How to Apply button and then click New Fellowships. Select your school system from the list and look for the projects whose titles begin with “Students Discover”. Don’t delay, applications are due by February 9, 2014.

Discover the world of science research for yourself and for your students.
