That’s a Wrap: Day 3 of #AntsOnBroadway

Time sure flies when you are having fun! Amy and I concluded our final day of field work for #AntsOnBroadway on Thursday. The weather continued to hold — sunny and even warmer than we had experienced the previous two days. For our last day of ant-collecting, we headed up to the northern end of Manhattan — beyond the jurisdiction of most tourist city maps.

Although the fieldwork portion of #AntsOnBroadway has concluded for the season, we still have lots more to share and tell in the coming weeks. Look for upcoming blog posts, podcasts, and even videos in the days and weeks to come!

Thanks, Shannon! We’re eager to sort through all of those sample vials and learn exactly what we collected!

How cool to see not only what you did while in the “wilds” of NYC, but also the great and fun way you documented your unique time “on Broadway”. If they gave a Tony out to ant collectors you all would be in the running for sure!

Glad you had such an abundance of ants in High Bridge. Although we didn’t find so many the day I assisted you further south on Broadway, I had a fascinating time spending a couple of hours at the ants’-eye view. Thanks!
